Terrace is a nice space, bigger than it looks. Pre book of you want to sit on the terrace. Food was tasty. The set menu combination of starter and main or main and dessert or starter and dessert was a nice touch and the choice of food on this menu was also good. I would visit again for the set menu or coffee and dessert. The owner was jolly and had a good sense of humour. Rated 3/5 as the waiter was not user friendly, not attentive, forgot our drinks order, chucked extra cutlery across the table (yes I mean that). Sorry to have down rated, but it tainted our visitors experience. Would have been a strong 4/5 otherwise.
Plat du Jour, Duck a l'Orange was hard and rubbery. No salad, just heaps of frites and undercooked Duck. Orange sauce? No real taste. So disappointed. Duck should fall off the bone. We weren't the only ones having trouble with cutting, let alone eating the duck. A small salad with it would have been nice! 14 euros! Ouch. No value for money.
I was there for the musical evening. we were in a nice personal atmosphere at the top
Very friendly little bar on Heyrieux with a very welcoming super boss.
We took advantage of the veranda to take our meal where we were sitting comfortably about the meal, we started with a selection of cheese: very nice presentation, the flavors were there. accompanied by a glass of wine, which was in perfect agreement with the chosen cheese. We then took the menu of the day, it was without any disappointment! We've had a lot of fun. The service is done without being impatient, the staff is very pleasant and attentive. I recommend this bistro for which, you can be sure, you will be welcomed with the smile and you will eat without regret!
