We have been to many many sushi restaurants in California and Phoenix and this is THE BEST!!! Great sushi! Big, thick slices of fresh yellowtail!Trempura was light and crisp the best I have ever had ! Warm atmosphere, attentive service, basically an all round wonderful experience! My family brought me to this restaurant for my 69th birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoy trying new places, and this one exceeded my expectations. I started with the tempura appetizer and the snow crab and cucumber salad, both of which were delicious. We shared two bento boxes and a rainbow roll, which were also excellent. Our nine-year-old grandson even said it was the best sushi he had ever tried. The owners even had a vase of two roses on our table in celebration of my birthday. We definitely plan on returning in the future. The average price per person for dinner was between $20-$30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Rainbow Rolls, Sushi, Miso Soup, Tempura, and the Bento Box with Tuna and Yellowtail Nigiri.

This place has a very special vibe. It is quiet, intimate, and peaceful. The food is outstanding and the one and only waitress is lovely. We come about once a month, and reservations are a must. Seating is extremely limited. I am a native Californian and a big foodie. This place is amazing. Very few tables and take out slots, but the food is well presented and always fresh. My favorite restaurant in Hickory!
