Time Out Sports Cafe - Hicksville

I never write reviews, but we had such a greatt experience last night, I felt compelled. My 10 12 year old boys left for sleepaway camp last night, and they love to play pool, so we went there for the 1st time. When we got there, my husband was thinking that it was a bad choice because it's a bar. My boys immediately began playing pool. They didn't care that the balls would get intermittently stuck! What was so impressive was the food. The buffalo wings were some of the best around, meaty and super crispy. My husband is a cheesesteak fanatic, always orders it, but usually disappointed. He was very happy and ate the whole big sandwich! My son got cheeseburger sliders which we didn't like, but the portions were so big we didn't need them. The best part were the sweet potato fries. I am generally not a huge fan and prefer regular fries, but my husband and I agreed that they were the best sweet potato fries we have ever had. They were like mashed sweet potatoes in the middle but thin and crispy on the outside. The service was fantastic. All of the bartenders were nice to the boys. We will definitely be back!

Best place in the world. Food/drink is amazing and they have a pool table. They have a jukebox that has a good selection of music too.

Later, busy drinking... Bite the tail of the dog that Bit you...To again ingest something that recently made one ill, especially drinking more alcohol in order to cure a hangover. A: You need to bite the dog that bit you if you want to feel better. B: Ew, no! I 'm never touching ....LAST 3 weeks drinking only water, coffee, soda,,.this hits the spot The Bartenders are baritone, richie is a soprano..have them sing to you .a nice night.

What a lovely place to spend your time at night, bartender was gem of a person and I forgot to ask her name. Service is splendid.
