Tanekura Inn - Hida

Tanekura Inn is situated in the most breathtaking location I have ever laid eyes on, with only 18 residents. The inn, also known as a ryokan, is run by the incredibly welcoming and kind manager, Yoko. We stayed for one night and enjoyed a delicious vegan meal made from local ingredients. Yoko even took us on a foraging expedition to pick wild plants for our evening meal! This experience comes highly recommended - it was truly the best we had in Japan.
