Bill's Fish And Chip Shop - High Peak

Asked for a lightly battered fish. Fish we got had very thick batter and was very very greasy it was disgusting and very disappointing it went in the bin ,waste of money, chips were also very poor all ends. I would not call this place a gastro chippy. The amount you pay for fish and chips should be better quality

I come here every now and again for a chippy tea, The food here is absolutely delicious and always hot every time the staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable.

Served very quickly on Friday, 5.45 ish. Really nice chips, and a good big fish normal order). Would recommend.

Had a chip butty for £2.70 as i needed a quick bite to eat in between journeys. In my opinion £2.70 is expensive for a chip butty but if it had been a decent portion it wouldn't have been so bad. Unfortunately not the case, really small and the chips were luke warm and dried up. Really poor, it was only 5pm. Won't be back.

Been going here since I first moved to Buxton 12 years ago. Always been the best chippy in Buxton. Fresh quality food at a reasonable price! Highly recommend it.
