This is the best hidden gem in high point. Best Mexican place I've been in NC, and I have been to almost all of them. The service is top notch. The food is incredible (I love the enchiladas, tacos, beans, abd street tacos myself). Their desserts are also really good.
Homemade papusas! This is one of the most authentic places in town! Fantastic food!!!
Average Mexican food. Good but not great. Our waitress was kind but not necessarily prompt. My husband ordered the ACP and was surprised when it came in a fried shell bowl rather than plated as is usual when ordered elsewhere. My quesadilla was good but my biggest hang up as a chip 'n dip girl was the tiny container the salsa was served in which made it quite difficult to get ample salsa on each chip. If you 're in the area, the food is good but I think ambience is lacking and food is equal to other restaurants with a similar menu.
This was our first time at Crazy Mexico as we are visiting for HPMKT. It was delicious! It's one of the only times I can remember Mexican food not being pretty salty, and I really appreciated that. The food came out very fast and I was left with enough leftovers for tomorrow. Everything tasted very fresh: vegetables were still crisp in my quesadilla, meat was tender. It's too bad we don't live closer because I would definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks for a great visit!
