I took my wife here for her bday because I'm not a Japanese food fan. It was really neat watching him prepare and cook the food right in front of us. The food was really good, but the house soup was amazing. I would definitely enjoy returning here again in the near future!Food: 5/5
First time back in a few years. Whoever the owners are really need to spruce up the place with flooring, paint and lighting. Hasn't been touched in 20 years easily. I could definitely smell a musky smell, nothing bad, but was noticeable. It could be so much more if they put a little more money into a remodel.Food: 5/5
The food was good, and the filet mignon was absolutely amazing! The service and chef interaction was the best! The atmosphere is a little dark and dated, and the prices of the dishes lean closer to $40 than $30, but well worth it. If you don't have a sense of humor or can't at least crack a smile, go somewhere else!Food: 4/5
The service is mediocre. Be aware that if your entire party isn't in the building you will not be seated. We arrived at 4:26pm. The floors are sticky and the chairs are unstable, I thought it would give out on me at any moment. The server was sufficient. The miso soup was a tad salty. The food was good. My steak was cooked properly. I requested medium. The chicken was juicy and cooked correctly. If you are hot natured do not sit directly in front of the grill. Choose the seats on either the left or right.
