Sweet Josephine's - High Point

This was my first time visiting Sweet Josephine and boy is it sweet!! When you walking the scent is what I'd imagine heaven to smell like. The customer service is top rate, as well. I ordered 6 vegan cupcakes that look scrumptious and a brownie for myself. My first bite into the brownie and I melted. It is beyond amazing. I highly recommend.

They made me the best gluten free birthday cake I have ever had! Flavor was orange dream-sickle which reminded me of my childhood. Price was good too! We will be purchasing more cakes from them. I wish they could ship because I would buy cakes as a gift to send to friends and family.

The Strawberry Champagne cupcake was just as delightful as it sounds—light, fresh, sweet, and wonderfully unique. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but devoured it before we could take a photo. Perhaps next time! We also shared the Half Baked cupcake, topped with cookie dough. If you're a fan of cookie dough, you'll love this treat, which features cupcake at the bottom and cookie dough on top. The red velvet was tasty, although I personally prefer cream cheese frosting. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. We also loved the chocolate cupcake. The shop is small, but it's very cozy and charming. Next time, we might indulge in some coffee while enjoying our cupcakes on-site. We'll definitely be back!

They also host themed weeks throughout the year, featuring special treats and decorations, which adds an element of fun! The first cupcake I tried was the Breakfast in Bed—a blueberry cupcake topped with bacon. I would never have picked that for myself, but a friend brought it to me, and I was blown away! It tasted like a stack of blueberry pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and paired with bacon. Their chocolate cupcakes are incredibly moist and scrumptious. The custom cakes they create are unique and crafted based on the customer’s preferences. This bakery is truly exceptional! Considering the quality ingredients and the effort that goes into their creations, the prices are very reasonable. I recently moved away and really miss being able to visit this fantastic shop. The team at Sweet Josephine's exceeded my daughter's expectations for her 16th birthday cake. They crafted a stunning cake, and they did it on such short notice. The flavor was delicious, and everyone praised it. I will definitely be returning to them for future occasions.
