Contribuisci feedbackWe went on a Friday night for an early meal..just the two of us. We shared the pan fried dumplings with Vinegar Sauce. 10 dumplings for $9.95. They were probably the best dumplings that i have had in my lifetime of Chinese food.Then we shared the veggie Shanghai Noodle plate. Lots of colourful veggies, big fat Shanghai noodles with a great sauce. Plenty of food for us 2 Seniors. The take out business is very brisk here on a Friday night..a testament to the quality of the food. The next time that we visit, we will each order something from the Senior's Section. Soup, Chinese dish and a dessert for under $10
Our first visit to this restaurant and the food was fast, fresh and taste delicious! We will be back again! It may not look fancy on the outside but is much nicer inside.
Now called the NEW Golden National as it has new owners. While the quantity of food is still there, the reduction in quality of the food and knowledge by staff is very obviously a loss to this restaurant that was so well known for being one of the best.Our food was warm-cool when it arrived. My wife's food was wrong...not what she ordered. When brought to their attention they were apologetic but thats it; no offer to fix the order to what it should be.Sadly, it will probably be a long time before ( or if) we come back. Been coming here for years but now its not as good.
Well we stopped in for lunch for the 4th time and as on the previous visits the food was excellent, but we noticed one thing that we thought was odd for a Chinese restaurant, there was no sweet and sour pork selection on any of the dinners for one. This is a shame as they do have it and it's really very good. Hopefully this will change in the future.
New management has brought in new menu ideas as well as keeping long trusted staples .Staff has always been friendly.
