This contrasts with the more industrial and rustic vibe you might find at The Works or Treatz, which also has a child-friendly playground atmosphere. One standout feature is that they actually make their ice cream on-site, which is a refreshing change from many places that claim to sell "homemade" ice cream but often offer mass-produced products instead. Crollas also offers a fun experience with their cold stone creations, where they mix ice cream with toppings and sauces on a cold stone. While it might not quite reach the levels of Cold Stone Creamery in the USA, it's still a fantastic value at around £5, especially considering the generous portions. I tried the Tapestry flavor, and while it was good, I might not order it again. However, I’m sure there are plenty of people who would absolutely love it. The only downside, in my opinion, is the location, which can be a bit inconvenient to reach.
My new favorite spot for ice cream! Every scoop is handmade and absolutely delicious! Just a reminder, after applying the student discount, don't forget to ask for an additional 10% off, as I sometimes overlook that.
The coffee was reasonably priced over the course of time, but unfortunately, it didn’t make it through the winter.
