Friendly place with good pub food to cheap trips. beautiful view over the valley.
Popped in for a lunch (Thursday just as they started serving food). Both adults ordered burgers, cajun chicken and the stag burger, also had a children's nuggets, chips and beans. All meals were cooked well and tasted great. Good portion sizes and came out fairly quickly. Prices for both food and drinks are not too overpriced. There's a garden area overlooking countryside which is lovely and a small fenced off play area which I would say is aimed more at slightly older children. Car park out the front with a fair few spaces. Service was great and staff were friendly throughout. Dog bowls placed outside so can assume dog friendly too. Only downfall I'd say is the lack of accessibility for people in wheelchairs. Baby change unit available but only inside the women's toilets not separate.
Went for lunch. Food was good. Not impressed with the staff or service.
Friendly staff, good menu, decent food, and an amazing view from the back garden.
