Sir John Falstaff - Higham

This is a fantastic local pub with friendly staff and available parking. The price per person ranges from £1 to £10. I would rate the service a 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere gets a 3 out of 5.

I stopped by on a whim and had a pleasant experience. The owner was very friendly, although I didn't notice any food being served during my visit. I plan to return, as there's a lovely garden where you can relax.

After that group departed, we politely asked if the music volume could be lowered since one of my friends wears a hearing aid and was struggling to follow our conversation. While the music was eventually turned down, the staff member’s rude remark beforehand was disheartening. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

I'd actually give it 3 a half stars given the option. They're missing a trick here. It's a great looking pub on the outside, and it gives the air of great expectations as to what's on the inside. However, the inside is a little rough around the edges. Do they really want a pool table inside? Do they need a fruit machine? I feel they're missing an opportunity. It has so much potential to be a fantastic country pub if they went upmarket.
