Bothan Bar Restaurant - Highland

After a long day out in the mountains.... all I felt like was a a good G&T and a smiley face to top off my evening. All the bar staff at chillers were fabulous but one chap in particular made mine and my boyfriends evening!! Aidan was friendly, helpful and funny so knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. His experience in mountaineering made for interesting conversation and made us feel comfortable and at home! Thank you so much Aidan for your warm welcome!! We will be coming back to chillers everytime we are in the area!!!

We visited this restaurant looking for a quick and easy meal after a busy day. Our initial impression was that it was a run-down sports bar with a slight locker room smell. We were entertained by the pool table while deciding whether to eat, and ultimately decided to do so based on reviews from TripAdvisor. The one staff member working was friendly, but often disappeared for periods of time, resulting in a wait at the bar if we needed anything. When my haggis Bon bons arrived, two were red hot and the third was frozen in the middle while hot on the outside. This was promptly taken away and returned hot with an apology. The quality of the food was not great, but it was edible. Despite the reasonable prices, I would not return to this restaurant.

Coming up to the end of the West Highland Way and we were running low on funds so we came here because the meals seemed inexpensive! Nice surprise when the food turned out to be absolutely amazing. Not to mention friendly staff and a good range of drinks. Great value and it turned out to be one of our favourite stops on the trip.

This bar was the good surprise of our trip. I try the veggie burger and it was just perfect. Really delicious.

I was in kinlochleven to take part in a race. i visited the bar the night before to relax then again straight after the race to recover. nice service comfy seating very clean
