My wife and I had noticed this restaurant earlier in the year, but it was closed at the time. This time, we saw that it was open and decided to give it a try. Initially, we thought it was just a tearoom based on its name. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we entered. The restaurant had a wide variety of homemade dishes on their cafe menu, all at a reasonable price. The service was excellent, and our meals were freshly prepared and served hot. The coffee was also top-notch. The restaurant is run by a friendly husband and wife team. We highly recommend this place if you're visiting the highest village in the Highlands, Tomintoul. Unlike most Scottish restaurants, they do not allow dogs inside. Make sure to check their Facebook page for updates.
This charming restaurant is the perfect spot for a meal and a drink. The owners are delightful and we enjoyed chatting with them. The food was delicious and the menu had a great selection.
Stopped of for something to eat when touring Scotland. Food we had was excellent and had the best cup of tea we’d had for weeks. The husband and wife who ran the tearoom were very welcoming and friendly.
Get yourself here great homemade food friendly staff wifi if you ask very reasonable prices . Good views on the way
