Giovanni's Italian - Highland

Great service and super friendly staff! On arrival we were shown to our table and given a complimentary glass of Prosecco as we were celebrating. Our food order was taken and it wasn’t long before we were served our first course. The food was delicious, with generous first courses. We both had pizza and this was freshly cooked and huge. Again so tasty, I’m dislike tomatoes so I had the Funghi pizza which has a white sauce base, this was the best pizza I’ve ever had! Yes we also had dessert again this was delicious. Service wasn’t rushed and a special mention to Zolton who was so helpful polite.

Ambiance good, service and staff were very good however menu limited and food mediocre. We were a party of 3 and we all chose something different. Pizza topping sparse, base of pizza soft. Pasta bland. Risotto seemed to be the best option when we went. Sadly we probably will not return.

Many places in Aviemore were closed. Giovanni's was suggested to us. We were made very welcome. No loud background canned music so we were able to talk easily. The food was exceptionally good and served quickly. all the staff were helpful and very pleasant. The room is bright and airy, did not feel packed in like many other restaurants.

Great pizzas and friendly staff. Authentic wood fired oven. lovely wine and prompt service. Better than the other local Italian restaurant.

We had a stunning evening, good food made even better by the level of hospitality. George made our pizza, and went out of his way to teach us the art too! We will be going back
