So crazy hog is the only way to go around here, and they are all the halkirk, but I know that the people from thurso and all the surrounding villages come to eat here and from good ground. I haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but. I had torn out and was very impressed by the food, the portions and the very friendly staff, and all at a price that did not hurt the wallet. I would get the crazy hog very well and I look forward to my next visit.
I've eaten a couple of times at the crazy hug in halkirk and that's out of this world. portion sizes are really large. the workers will go out of the way to make sure that they can do everything possible to make their experience as...complete as possible. the prices are extremely reasonable great value for money they leave this facility want more can highly recommend
One night I was here. large selection of burgers on the menu all with locally produced products. we chose a pig and a beetleburger and a beefburger. both came nicely prepared and really well cooked, not over cooked. were excellent and...we will definitely repack some of the other joys on the menu. the service was very ready when they said it was.
Very pleased to have found somewhere so family friendly in the area. The menu has masses of choice as and portions are equally as generous even the kids selection proved too much for our year old. The pulled pork baguette was particularly tasty...and everyone else enjoyed their burgers. The macaroni fritter was great, as were the sweet potato fries. The chance to bring your own bottle is a real bonus, but there is a good selection of soft drinks too. Cash preferred, though no ATM as yet in Halkirk.
