Caleb is ABSOLUTELY the sweetest, kindest young man, hands down best Barista and excels in his Customer Service skills. Good chance I’d never stop at this location if it were not for Caleb’s warm greeting and excellent customer service.
On the morning of 11/19/2022 I was charged $8 and some change for two KID’S hot chocolates. Barista should have known that wasn’t right for those drinks. She also wasn't very friendly, not rude, but just didn’t give me what I look forward to shopping at Starbucks. Kind of clouded my whole experience. Before I bought the kids drinks my husband got he and I a Peppermint Mocha and Oatmilk Caramel Machiatto. Both drinks tasted like the proportions were off. Disappointed. Hopefully she was new and this is just one of those things that happen when a nee person is left alone for the first few times.
They always seem understaffed at this in store location. It often seems like there's only one person working there at a time, though I've seen two on occasion. May times, when only one person is there, you have to hunt then down so you can order. One of the baristas is super efficient and friendly, but only seems to be there sporadically. The other regular baristas are cordial, but a little slow and not very precise. There's a regular Starbucks store across the highway, with a drive thru and excellent staff they're way better. If you don't mind crossing the highway via Park Ave., get your coffee there before shopping at Target. The in store Starbucks just doesn't compare.
I go to this Starbucks all the time. Today I walk in no one is there and I wait 10 minutes for a drink. When I ask about my drink it's like you are next when I watch all these other drinks being made. The barista instead of saying sorry for the delay gave me a surely goodbye. I am in customer service and the customer should be treated like a guest not with attitude as I just had.
When looking for a Starbucks I look for a great drive up ,and a great staff. The location on the highway in Highland Park Makes the grade.
