Kay's Cafe - Highland

Owner has horrible customer service. Missing item when I got home but was given a tortillas in replace. Owner was very rude about it. Demanded the tortillas back before receiving what I ordered. Which was fine it was just the way she acted about it. My family will never order from them again. Her face is just unpleasant as well.

The food was excellent and the service was friendly! Make sure to come with a big appetite as the portions are generous. The French toast is particularly tasty. They even have a patio where you can dine with your dog. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I typically don't do this type of BAD REVIEW, but because of what just happened I feel the need to. My Wife and I are people of color and we were not treated warmly here at ALL!! Came in sat down, and were IGNORED. THE STAFF made a point to walk around us, not greet us, but greeted other people. Only difference between my Wife and those other folks were YOU GUESSED IT OUR COLOR. We went to another Cafe, Molly's in San Bernardino and were treated like HUMANS

The restaurant has high prices, low food quality, and very indifferent service. It is clear that this place used to have a lot more customers. Now, like many other independent restaurants, they are struggling to serve something decent.

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic. I tried the Eggs Benedict Cowboy style for the first time, along with a side of corned beef hash, and both dishes were delicious. The corned beef hash, made with real corned beef and not canned, was my favorite. I am now a fan of the Eggs Benedict Cowboy. Highly recommend giving it a try!
