Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the restaurant to find that they had been closed for the last 10 days because of a gas explosion. Do you think that maybe someone would have let Open Table know or called us to let us know this had happened and we needed to make other plans?? No idea how the food is, but the owners have a lot to learn about customer service.

The wait staff at this restaurant is attentive and knowledgeable. The cuisine is creative and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend dining in. I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, with the atmosphere being a 4.
The service at this restaurant is exceptional. The food is absolutely delicious. Each of us ordered a different dish and all six of us loved our choices. While it is not cheap, we were extremely satisfied with the high quality of the food. The menu offers a variety of options for everyone. Overall, we rated the service, food, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. The average price per person for dinner is between $30-50.
I don't give 5 reviews often and not usually for a restaurant that we haven't been back to multiple times and gotten consistently outstanding food and service. However, our recent meal at Midpoint absolutely wowed us and I can't possibly give it anything less. We made early reservations for Saturday night and asked to be seated outside on their rooftop deck overlooking Main St. We were given our choice of 2 tops and as the sun went down and the breeze picked up, the staff distributed blankets and wraps to all the tables. Very cozy and charming. Immediately after we were seated, we were brought an amuse bouche: two small spoons of shrimp ceviche. It was delicate and zingy and very refreshing. Then we placed our order for the evening. Drinks: Me dirty Tito's martini with blue cheese olives. Excellent and icy cold. Him Jameson and soda with a lemon twist. He said it was the best mixed drink he's had. Food: Bang Bang Shrimp 6 crisply fried shrimp drizzled (not soaked) in a spicy bang bang sauce and served over arugula. Mussels in creamy white wine sauce. The mussels were nicely cooked and I could have eaten the sauce with a spoon. Caesar Salad to share A whole head of romaine drizzled with housemade Caesar dressing. Amazing. Churrasco Steak (him) skirt steak, chimichurri, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. He said that the beans were maybe the best thing on the plate and the plantains were perfectly tender and slightly sweet. Wild Mushroom Ravioli (me) a dozen ravioli stuffed with shitake mushrooms and served in a sherry wine butter sauce. Served with asparagus. Absolutely fantastic. The browned butter garlic sauce was swirled with sherry and it was just rich and decadent. Dessert: Boletus Mushroom sticking with the mushroom theme, we had the gorgeous mushroom dessert made of short crust, confit, mascarpone mouse, dark chocolate daquoise, chocolate mousse, and so much more. It tasted even better than it looked! Dark Roast Martini to share Espresso liqueur, Amarula, orange bitters, vodka, and coffee. Served with 3 coffee beans. So good! It was a ton of food and we lingered for over 2 hours, enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Our server, Zac, was fantastic. Friendly, personable, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, chatted with us and made suggestions for our next trip to the Highlands area. We even talked single malt Scotch with him, which was fun. It was an amazing dinner in a lovely location with fantastic service. Well worth every star.
