Water Witch Coffee Tea Co - HIGHLANDS

While I prepared my coffee, I noticed that both self-serve urns for the coffee were nearly empty. I found a full urn behind one of the empties and swapped it out, managing to get my coffee made. However, I then waited an excessive amount of time for the tea. After 15 minutes, one of the staff members, who had been busy behind the counter, informed me that they were still waiting for the water to boil. I know that boiling water can be done relatively quickly, so it seemed odd that they hadn't started the process until they realized my order was still outstanding. After a few more minutes, I took a seat at the coffee bar. One of the employees, possibly the owner, came over to inform me that they were still waiting for the water. I asked why it was taking so long to boil water, and she snapped back, "What do you want, a refund?" At that point, after nearly 25 minutes, I did mention that a refund would be welcome, but I still wanted my tea. Instead of addressing my order, she reached into the tip jar, took out a couple of bills, and handed me $2. The drink had cost closer to $5 originally, so I was shocked that she refunded me using the tips meant for her employees. A minute or two later, I finally received my tea, only to find that it wasn't even a London Fog but just a cup of regular tea—and not even Earl Grey. To top it off, my coffee was gritty and had grounds at the bottom of the cup. As I was leaving, the shop seemed to be in disarray over running low on coffee filters, which seems like a basic necessity for a coffee shop. Overall, I experienced terrible service, received the wrong order, was refunded the wrong amount from the tip jar, and witnessed poor inventory management. I would not recommend Water Witch at all and certainly won't be returning. 0/10.

Nice space. Unique. Fun. The coffee was good. The croissants were not very good. They were short staffed so the wait was rather lengthy.

What a charming little spot! The coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is both cozy and quirky. The breakfast burrito is absolutely amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's a perfect place to grab a quick bite before hitting the road on my bike!

What an incredible place to visit and dine. I live 5hrs away and I travel to the Water Witch every summer. Their food, customer service, and atmosphere always gives me something special to look forward to when I come to visit. Wish this was closer to where I live. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Huge shout out to the young man who took my order. Such incredible customer service and welcoming personality.

Lovely local coffee cafe with fabulous people, great food and sweets, and quirky atmosphere. They also host live music events. Fabulous asset to the community!Kid-friendliness: Fur kid friendly!!
