Smashburger - Highlands Ranch

Definitely gone way down hill?! What happened? Terrible service, below par food and dirty tables? Yikes. So disappointing. I had their standard smash and haystack onions. I didn't really enjoy it at all. I actually would have preferred McDonalds over this way too greasey smash It took the guy prob 5 min before he finished making a shake so he could take our order. Really??? And when he did. it was clear he likely wanted to be somewhere else. Then looking for a table. Wow I wonder how long someonea trash was sitting there as I moved it off the table and I had to ask another worker if he had something I could wipe the table.

First time to a smash burger and I must say that I was impressed. And I will be back. Was promptly greeted by a very enthusiastic cashier. She explained the menu to me a total noob. I decided on a make my own burger on a chipotle bun, medium with American cheese and some topping a and a dipping sauce spicy chipotle on the side. I also got some fries. The fries were match stick in size. And so they were a little hard to eat. Wish they were larger. Alone they where a little lack luster in regards to spice. But they were excellent in the chipotle sauce. The burger was large and juice and made perfectly. The bun was a nice touch although a bit small for the burger. But over all had a nice bun to burger ratio. It came out with the right toppings and was hot. I enjoyed it a lot! Service was fast. The place was clean. But it was also dead and me and my lunch pal were the only people there.

Super sad about seeing the awful reviews here! I live in the surrounding area, and we have been to this location quite a few times. In fact, it's one of our favorite places to get for delivery/take out, they seem to nail our order every time and it always arrives fresh and hot! Maybe it's just me, but my family has always had a positive experience here. My recommendation, Colorado burger with bacon and an egg....boom! Thanks guys, will be back and continuing to support a Colorado founded business through COVID-19!

Instructions when visiting the smash: 1 Order the Colorado Burger (fresh green chilies with pepper jack cheese! 2 Get the smash fries (loaded with garlic and olive oil 3 Grab a beer while you wait (this location is always busy AF 4 Ask for Sheri (she opens various stores across the country and was beyond helpful, friendly and nice! 5 Eat there or take it home and stuff your face! 6 Repeat. I can 't wait to return! Pro Tip: Check the website and/or mail, for buy one get one coupons!

Getting my burger which I really like. They are very tasty and you can also opt to go for a salad. You can pick and choose the toppings and they make it fresh. You'll have to wait a bit but it is worth it. Make it a combo and get the fries. I personally suggest the Cobb salad, it comes with bacon and fried egg.
