Cock Bull English Pub And

Have been several times before and it has been ok in the past but the last two times were just bad. Tonight they forgot to bring out the starter and when I reminded them as a kids meal come out they ended up bringing it out and it was wrong. My steak meal had a piece of plastic in it, which I can live with but mentioned it at the counter anyway. I wasnt trying to get a discount but the girl told me the price I handed her the money and after I mentioned the plastic she said she would let the manager know and he come over and offered me a discount, the girl then gives me back my change which was less than I expected so I asked for the receipt. She then had to get the manager to come back and do a reprint of the receipt and I said the bill went up not down and straight away he said oh you didnt order wine did you? And I said no especially not in the few minutes i have stood here. He didnt realise the girl had already given me the total before he was called over to do the discount. He had knocked off $6 discount but then added a $10 glass of wine. Definitely check your receipt here! All the food had a ridiculous amont of parsley sprinkled on it. The restaurant was freezing cold aswel as the last time we come. I am glad we had jerseys with us.

Beef Yorkshire hell yes! Always go there when in the Tron. Could do with mushie peas and mashed or roast spuds but very yummy. Recommend

Stopped in here after the mud run out in Ngaruawahia. Had a beer and lunch. Food was pretty standard pub fare and good quality. We had a table out in the sun, and on a winter's afternoon this was perfect. It was very quiet and our group was able to really relax.

We ordered seafood chowder x 2, just tasted like flavoured water with no substance, the steak meal was tough and the fish meal overcooked and dry, would not recommend their menu to any of our friends, very disappointed, will not be returning.
