Saint Lazarre Cafe

This cafe seems to have very little French influence, despite its marketing. The wait times have been long each time I’ve been, none of which have been at especially busy times. That being said, the staff are friendly and food is delicious. I would recommend the seafood chowder. The location and setting are also lovely, which all together make me willing to look past the long time spent waiting for food.

Walked in was instantly welcomed by a staff member. We ordered our meals it arrived 30 minutes later. Didn't mind the wait, as it was a beautiful late morning. So my hubby I sat outside chatted about family work. Food arrived with a smile, we absolutely love our meals. My husband had a beef burger with fries, I had seafood chowder with crispy bread. It was delicious!! Compliments to the chef. I love the place, the decor is of French influence it had a warm feeling to it. Will visit this place again. Thank you to Saint Lazarre Cafe!

I've been here twice while in Hamilton for work and both times the food was generous portions and delivered in a timely manner. A nice little café tucked away

Discovered one of Hamilton's best kept secrets this week. Their seafood chowder with french pastry on top was to die for. Sat in the sun in the courtyard area and was so pleasant. thank you so much for your excellent food and service.

Was an enjoyable lunch, both meals were lovely. A beautiful spot to enjoy your coffee.
