Usually when tourist attractions have a restaurant the food isn't good. This place had lively food, great service, ans a stunning setting.
Fredensborg Museum is always a great experience, and so is Spisestedet Leonora. The menu we had was a selection of fish and meat, topped with great cheese. Prices are affordable and the quality is top. But on this occasion, the staff must have been new or busy, as they got our order wrong and added 3 drinks to the bill, we did not order. This can, of course, happen, and the faux pas did not spoil an otherwise enjoyable lunch.
This was a small place that does a buffet brunch right next to Frederiksborg castle. Nothing special with regards to the food but definitely in a good location.
After a visit to the castle, we went for a small lunch. Fried fish on a slice of bread with a prawn and mayo topping, and we had a large glass of Carlsberg to go with that. Everything tasted good without being exceptional in any way.
