The Maharaja - Hillingdon

We had our New Year's Eve meal at Maharaja after not visiting for a while. The restaurant is now under new management. The food was fantastic and plentiful, and the service was excellent. We appreciated the complimentary extras that enhanced our experience. We highly recommend a visit to Maharaja!

Lovely staff, couldn’t have made us feel any more welcome. Gorgeous food too….will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Used to eat at this place a few years back so for my birthday we thought we would revisit, what a disappointment, when this restaurant first opened the food was excellent, the food now is terrible, stale Popadums, my starter was inedible the worst king prawn purée I have ever had, people on next table were complaining about the food which never goes down well, we decided to not bother with our courses, verdict is to Avoid this place, bad service, terrible food don’t waste your money we won’t be going back

I recently ordered food online for pickup at this restaurant, but upon arrival, I was informed that they had not received my order. After showing the manager my confirmation email and proof of payment, I was told to contact 'Chef Online' as they had not sent the order. Despite my insistence that I had placed and paid for my order, I had to spend 15 minutes on the phone with the company to sort out the issue. Another customer experienced the same problem, indicating a technical fault. The manager refused to acknowledge this and instead blamed me. When I tried to speak with the manager again, he walked away from me, displaying unacceptable behavior. The two staff members working in the front of the house were fantastic and I have no complaints about them, but sadly they were just following their manager's orders. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

I visited the restaurant last night with my friends,and I am totally disappointed,the food was not great. Tikka masala tasted disgusting! It was full of red color and it tasted very sweet. Biriyani was tasteless.I wouldnt recommend this place.
