The hot honey has a mild sweetness with a gentle heat that intensifies as you enjoy the sandwich. The chicken was moist and tender, but the hot honey overwhelmed any seasoning that might have been in the chicken's breading. While the hot honey was delicious, I couldn't eat the sandwich for about 15 minutes after purchasing it. By that time, the honey had softened any crunch that the chicken coating may have had. Fortunately, both sides of the bun had enough honey to keep the sandwich from being dry. The addition of the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions complemented the smoky bacon nicely, making for a tasty combination. Would I order it again? Probably, but only if I could eat it right after receiving it. Otherwise, I'd opt for the regular version without the hot honey, which is crispy and delicious when made fresh. I typically make it a point to request that my orders from fast-food restaurants be freshly prepared, often waiting in the parking lot for 5 to 10 minutes for them to bring it out. There’s usually a significant difference between a freshly made sandwich and one prepared through the standard assembly process. If you have an extra five or ten minutes, I highly recommend trying it the next time you place an order at the drive-thru.
Carl's Jr. has always served delicious, juicy burgers, but I've noticed that their milkshakes only come in one size. It’s interesting to compare this because burgers are available in multiple sizes, just like my favorite restaurant that also specializes in juicy burgers. So I can’t help but wonder: why are the milkshakes offered in just one size?
I tend to stick to my routine when I visit Carl's; I usually order the same thing every time. The morning staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, and they quickly remember my usual order, always serving it just right with a smile. If I do decide to switch things up, we share a laugh, and they still get it right. It's important to be kind to them; they work hard to ensure everything is perfect.
