Nara Teriyaki - Hillsboro

I need to come back ASAP. Stopped in from across the state and was pleasantly surprised. The owner is awesome and let me speak Korean to her ?

The food is very good and the owners are nice. The food has never let my family down.

I was in the mood for teriyaki chicken and I’m glad I found this place!

The best soft tofu stew I've had yet. All other stews are going to be compared to this one. Was delicious and not too spicy. Just enough to make your nose run but still taste good. Hot stone bibimbap was also really really good. Chicken teriyaki lunch was a good deal. Was pleasantly surprised when we found this place, haven't seen prices this low in months and it was so nice to have such a good meal without breaking the bank.

I've generally enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but my latest experience left me quite disappointed with the food. The chicken katsu was the worst I've ever had—there was hardly any chicken present. I even took photos to document it, as the chicken was practically paper-thin, while the dish was mostly breading. The other items we ordered were delicious, so I don't think this place is awful overall, but I would highly recommend avoiding the chicken katsu if you decide to visit.
