After today's visit you can bet I won't ever shop with Whole Foods again. If you want to spend $200-300 on practically nothing THIS IS YOUR STORE! Should've learned my lesson but decided to give Whole Foods a few more tries so we've recently shopped there but leave feeling so guilty about how much we spent with hardly any groceries. The first start of a bad experience of this store today was the incredibly rude woman working in bakery watching me stand by the coffee barista trying to pretend she didn't see me until she had no choice but to ask if I needed help. Once she helped me she seemed miserable about it and had a TERRIBLE attitude. My boyfriend had even mentioned that he notice her **** attitude. Second was the $16 Mac and cheese that they weigh by the lb with THICK DISGUSTING SAUCE and super dry chicken. When I called the store to ask if we could get a refund the woman laughed and said no. YEAH screw this place I regret ever giving them my money. I'll stick to Trader Joe's.
I stopped in for the elusive aged cheddar cheese w/ Irish whiskey that my palate was recently introduced to at a birthday party the same people turned me on to Port Salut a few months back. And I hoped to locate a bottle of the most prized, yet elusive, hand sanitizer of any brand, but it just didn 't happen no luck o ' the Irish today: The store was not busy due to virus concerns, there were quite a few empty shelves freezer cases. Only one cashier was working while wearing the now fashionable blue gloves). I took some interior pics before a young woman about tripped over her own feet to tell me I could not take pics of the store per company policy. I was informed that I could take pics of individual items, if I wished. I really didn 't. The young Black man stocking the dairy section was very friendly. Most employees were not perhaps due to social distancing. The fish cheese sections, as well as the bakery deli sections, were well stocked, but the in demand paper products cleaners were not. There were some fresh cuts of meat limited), as well as large bottles of water. I prefer the larger Whole Foods store south of this location; it 's far more appealing w/ its high ceilings and more open concept. It 's my favorite grocery store period. Will probably return here for more cheese that regular chains don 't carry), but there is nothing else sold at this location that I can 't do without.
I only visit Whole Foods if I need something specific that's on the organize or healthy side, also to get their frozen mochi dessert which you can choose yourself from a frozen display case. I think that Whole Foods is on the more expensive side so I choose to do my shopping at either the big box places to buy in bulk or Publix. Whole Foods is relatively close to me however not my go-to for groceries unless there's something specific I'm in the market for and they are the only place that has it. Overall the grocery store is organized and clean. There are salad buffets available and fresh food that you can order. They even have tables available in an outside area where you can dine. Staff is not very friendly in these areas, as when we were looking at the food, nobody really approached us to ask if we needed anything despite them standing behind the counter of where we were browsing. It's like you'd have to specifically ask for their assistance.
Today I thought I would try another attempt at Whole Foods. Last time I was here I was asked to go to my Amazon prime account input information to be able to get the discount pricing. Much as I really did not want to do this I feel like Amazon is tracking my purchases. But, I did to try to get past the purchasing of some items. Never realized how much BS you can go through. Today my telephone did not input into the computer. It is frusturating to realize that you are being questioned in front of other customers about your customer information how berated you can feel. Now I realize the difference between Publix and Whole Foods both pricey. But, what I also realize is Publix does not make me input more information. Sale prices are for all. Unfortunately, they did not have a resolution for my problem . I soon realized that their is a Sprouts, fresh market who are all sell the same type of food. Sometimes at better prices.
