My husband really enjoyed the quail, duck, and mushroom soup at this restaurant. While the meal was above average, it wasn't exceptional and we didn't feel it was worth traveling across town for. We found it to be a bit salty as well. The restaurant has a good selection and offers good service, making it a reliable choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.
Food is adequate but service and overall management is frankly terrible for big groups. They desperately try to squeeze more onto tables to get as may bums on seats as possible, and for any no-shows they want to slug the remaining patrons $20 for each no-show. Time between order and first service can be as long as 90 minutes. Even drinks can be that slow. Meal service on a single table can see people "starving" and while others on the same table eat and complete. If this had been a one-off it would be forgivable but we have been here numerous times (for family gatherings) and it seems a consistent behaviour.
Had some interesting experiences at this place but the last visit was not bad food wise although the senior waiter could have taken the new starter out of the dining area to tell him off. The Fried Rice is always excellent
This resto has always been consistent with great attentive service and great food! We would always order their coxochine fried rice, buddha hot pot and deep fried ice cream.
