Juniper Cafe - Hilton Head Island

If there is one word to describe my dining experience at Juniper Cafe, it is extraordinary! I went for lunch and ordered a Chinese chicken salad. I now understand what all the rave is about. This salad medley of mandarin oranges, cashews, wontons, and snow peas, on a bed on mixed greens, toped off with chicken. Me and my friends absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hilton Head.

We found this wonderful restaurant tucked in the back of a shopping center. They had a wonderful patio with a pond and a big water wheel and ducks too. The food was fantastic. The salad was fresh with homemade dressing. We ordered the Lamb shank and Grouper Port Royal and it was out of this world. They had a full bar and a terrific wine list with moderately priced wines by the bottle and glass. We were pleasantly surprised to find this mostly locals hangout. We highly recommend this charming restaurant!
