Lagerhead Tavern - Hilton Head Island

The staff are always pleasant, professional. They did not have enough staff working while the staff that were there worked very busily there still was a wait for food and drinks. If drinks had been served right away the wait for food might not havebeen soo noticable as we were 6 friends who enjoy being together.

Our first visit to Lagerhead ! The place was very busy and advise a reservation . The dinner was wonderful and tasty . We sat on the patio and fans were whirling . Very comfortable! Blood orange margarita was delicious. Service was not wonderful ,satisfactory. We have to be patient , staff shortages and under trained staff are to be expected . Well Worth a visit !!

We met up with a few friends for dinner. The food was good but the service was not so good. All our food tasted great and was fresh. They have a good selection of alcoholic drinks. It’s in a nice location. However the server was not so good. She was ina rush to get us out as soon as we sat down. She rushed us into ordering and even brought out our check before we got ourdessert. She did not ask some of us what we wanted for dessert but we did not bother telling her because she would get annoyed.She was annoyed at us when we did not have our credit card ready when she came back. The worst part was that there was no oneelse waiting for a table. Not sure if I would go back.

Really enjoyed this Hilton Head gem tucked away on the course. The staff were kind and helpful and the food was impressive. The beer selection was full of local craft and the specials list changes frequently. I ordered the salmon BLT and it waswonderful. The macadamia mahi was also impressive and our kids enjoyed the shrimp tacos. Considering the ease at finding areservation here, don’t let that fool you, this place is quality with wonderful scenery.

Went as a group of 9 this evening. This is our 4th or 5th visit. Three people at our table ordered burgers all well done. 2 of the burgers were medium rare and mine was raw. Waitress came by the table and I showed her the burger. She asked if I wantedto send it back . My stomach was doing cartwheels as I had taken at least 3 bites before I realized it was raw. But guess what,they still charged as if they served what I ordered. Will I take another chance, I doubt it. Catherine O’Connor
