Land's End Tavern - Hilton Head Island

The previous owners had a nice restaurant with a menu that fit. The new owners (The Salty Dog) have tried to add Mexican to the menu it just does not fit. Last year there was an invitation to contact the managers with a promise that they would get to the author. A Year later I am still waiting. The food was ordinary, the decor was not fitting a pirate theme, and the service was subpar. We will not go back. The owners don't care nor do we. New diners should enjoy a once in a life time experience.

We happened upon Lands End since we were on South Beach Marina at an awkward time between lunch and dinner. I got Fried Flounder and we got an Onion net for an appetizer. Everything was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

We visit Hilton Head at least once a year. The Lands End is always someplace we visit a couple of times. We have always had great food and the atmosphere is great. We found the location by accident one year when we were in the area. We had some time to kill and went in to get a drink and then came back the next night for dinner. We visited the island one year in November and we were very disappointed they were closed for the season. I look forward to visiting the Lands End every year!!

The food was so good here! The lush puppies were very delicious. They were soft with a light sweet taste. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Great service and I dig the ambience and decorations. Service was good, we were upstairs, that's about 15 steps. If you have problems with the stairs, be careful. I don't have any problems with stairs and prefer them to a lift. Food portions could have been a little more!!!! Overall I like this place, service was friendly and happy!
