Vine - Hilton Head Island

I almost hesitate to share such a low-rated review, but my family's recent experience at what was once an exceptional restaurant was both strange and disappointing. We have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed outstanding service along with unique, creative, and delicious food. Unfortunately, our last meal was lackluster; some dishes were undercooked, and one member of our party received a completely overcooked steak. Additionally, several diners didn’t even receive replacement utensils for their entrees. Many meals and drinks were severely delayed and poorly timed. Halfway through our meal, our waitress walked out, leaving us in the care of what seemed to be the only remaining staff member, who was doing his best in a difficult situation. It feels like we are witnessing the decline of this once-great restaurant.

I regularly visit this charming little place with my wife, and we absolutely love it! The staff and the owner are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond for us. When they overheard us mention that we were celebrating something special tonight, they surprised us with custom drinks! It really made our evening feel even more memorable, and the food was exceptional as well! Thank you, Vine, for consistently exceeding our expectations! Service: Dine-in.

I dined with my husband, sister, and brother-in-law, and to say our experience was bizarre would be an understatement. There was a new owner and a new waitress, but the former waitress, who we learned had recently been fired, roamed around the restaurant as if she still worked there. My brother-in-law ordered gnocchi, which was still frozen, and I ordered a filet that arrived only slightly warm. The new waitress kept apologizing for minor issues that weren't even problems. Overall, it was an odd dining experience. I would recommend trying a different restaurant! I honestly felt sorry for the new waitress.

Wonderful, delicious food. Great music. Great atmosphere. A perfect evening.

We went to Vine last night for dinner and it was CLOSED!!! No sign outside just locked up tight.You should do a better job checking out these restaurants. How do you think we did getting into a restaurant on Saturday night. Don’t know if I can trust this sight anymoreBrenda Madigan
