By far the best Seafood we have had in Albania. Always fresh, always tasty, always special. Fredi is a fisherman, cook, artist and above all a great person. Small family-run restaurant, the owner is very nice, helpful and kind, but he is also a freediver, so he serves what he caught in the morning at the table. Wide choice of dishes: grilled octopus or in salad, grilled prawns or stew with feta, marinated anchovies and finally grilled fish. We stayed in Himare for 4 days and had dinner there for 4 evenings with an average cost of around €20/22 each, including 1 liter of wine. The only downside is that it doesn't have sweets on the menu (but you can get them in the pastry shop next door) and it doesn't make coffee (but you can get it from the nearby bar). It is absolutely recommended to book and perhaps request pre-emption on the catch of the day. If you like fresh and genuine fish in a family environment, this is an UNMISSABLE place! We had dinner twice at Fredy's, we had a wonderful time, on the first evening as well as eating, we pleasantly listened to the story of his adventures at sea, since every morning, equipped with a wetsuit and a spear, he goes underwater fishing and all the catch of the day is offered on its menu. He is an exquisite and very professional person, he promised us sea urchins and the next day he collected and cooked them especially for us. What can I say, highly recommended, banal to say FRESH FISH AND ABOVE ALL EXCELLENT AND WELL COOKED IF YOU WANT TO DINNER HERE YOU MUST BOOK, THANKS FREDY FOR THIS KNOWLEDGE. Angy and Andrea
