Went for a quiet lunchtime drink after our dog walk.. a pint of beer and a white wine… £15.75!!! When I asked for a breakdown the wine was £10.75 for a medium glass!! Because I asked for New Zealand wine not Chilean!! Won’t be back in a hurry….

The table was booked for 1pm, it wasn't ready and they made a 90 year old lady stand for half an hour, No chairs available they did order drinks but they didn't appear until they could get the table. Very disappointing. Bad management.

We went to the Black Horse yesterday for a family celebration. The staff dealt with our rather large party with grace and ease, were very attentive and made us feel special. Food was delicious too!

Please be aware that before visiting this restaurant, the car park is poorly lit and the signs are not clear about the requirement to input your car registration details into an iPad to avoid a £100 fine. The car park is also not well-maintained, with poor lighting and children allowed to run around playing football. However, the food was good and the service was good.
