Our drinks were made quickly. We ordered J20s and Pepsi, however, we felt that the drinks were slightly expensive for soft drinks. Nevertheless, we had a great visit and will be back for food soon.
After our wedding, we enjoyed a meal with five friends in the cozy small snug. Everything was perfect - the food, service, and atmosphere. A big thank you to Jamie and his team for making us feel so welcome. - Steve and Sandra.
A lovely place. Good menu. Took ages for our order to be taken mains) and even longer for dessert order. Dessert over priced at 7-50 average. We ordered the sundaes, and although stated , whipped cream was missing. Coffee Luke warm and cappuccino had not a sign of any froth...... Disappointed tbh. Not a cheap place by a long way, but food was hot. Mashed potato was instant, I think.
We made a spontaneous decision to go out for a meal and took advantage of the nice weather. The manager was able to fit us in, which we appreciated. The food was delicious and all three of us in our group really enjoyed the quality and taste (especially the steak and ale pie). The atmosphere was lovely and the service was friendly, all at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Good choice of food for our fussy party. Provided a good variety for a vegetarian coeliac and a fussy eater. Food enjoyed by all and the staff were polite and friendly.
