Have visited here a few times over the years and the service has always been slow, but the food has always made up for it. This time it took over an hour to get our food after ordering. The place only had one other couple in when we arrived, yet 2 other tables who arrived after us were served before ourselves. The restaurant did not get any busier that night. We had ordered 2 x ‘tapas buffets for 2’, along with 2 extra dishes. What arrived for 4 people really didn’t seem enough for what we’d paid for, especially as there was a frittata and a paella thrown in for free due to the very long wait. 5 meat balls between 4 of us? 8 prawns for 4 adults? The anchovies barely covered the bottom of the tapas dish definitely not the tapas banquet we were expecting. To add to the poor offering of food the restaurant where we sat (near the window) was quite cool. The waitress/owner never returned to take any more drinks/food orders, so we finished our night in the pub where we knew we’d get better service. What a shame this place has gone downhill as it used to be our first choice when eating in Shilton.
Superb tapas food with a friendly host and very reasonable prices. Meatballs were so tender and flavoursome. Will definitely become a regular favourite.
I was not disappointed by this restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic, the service was excellent, and the prices were fair. The shared tapas gave us a taste of another country. I will definitely return to this place again.
We have dined here tonight for a family birthday. Great friendly service. We ordered a mix of tapas, pasta, and steak. Everything was very tasty and the steaks cooked to perfection.
