A Taste Of Philly - Hinesville

This place consistently delivers an exceptional lunch experience! The food is fantastic—everything from the Philly Cheese Steak to the Chicken Philly is delicious. The Italian Ice and Shaved Ice are perfect treats to round out the meal. The service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended!

This is the most authentic cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. While the bread doesn't seem to be Amoroso’s, it’s pretty close—so much so that I’m starting to second-guess myself. It might actually be Amoroso’s; I’ll have to ask next time we visit. They clearly know what they're doing here. At most places outside of Philly, the cheese goes on top of the sandwich, but these ladies understand that it’s supposed to go on the meat first, then the bread, and then flipped. They nailed it! The restaurant is small and has limited seating, but the food was outstanding and the ladies in charge were incredibly friendly—almost to the point where I wondered if they were actually from Philly. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you!
