Our only complaints this time around was the Cabana Boy (the greatest cocktail ever created) has been altered. It's still good and the addition of three cherries instead of one was welcome but switching from Cointreau to St Germain is a huge misstep. Please reconsider this grievous error. We're still gonna go but would appreciate a return to sanity.
We will have to give a one star for Tosca. After at least 10 minutes of not being acknowledged by anyone after we were seated, we left. We had a reservation and it was not overly busy at the time. A couple came in at the same time, staff immediately waited on them, poured water, delivered drinks from the bar and were engaging with their waiter. For the reputation of Tosca, we were very disappointed.
Corn soup was outstanding. Best we have ever had and would go back for it. It would be great if that was a regular menu item! Filet was cooked great Steak sauce is fantastic and I would love to get some for home. Do you sell it?
Food is consistently excellent here; they still provide bread, which is nice; server was excellent (cannot remember her name) and made the experience fun; flexible about requests; restaurant full which made it fun
We are regulars to Tosca and always enjoy our meal. The service was friendly and timely, the food was especially delicious last night and their pastry chef continues to delight. We started with the pear and endive salad for my husband and the Bibb salad with Gorgonzola dressing for me. The salads were fresh and well balanced. My husband enjoyed the fennel crusted sea scallops that were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. I had one of the evening's special, pork costaletto, which was originally a menu item. Tender marinated thin slices of grilled pork served over a bed of risotto verde and topped with broccolini. The pork was absolutely melt in your mouth nirvana and the risotto and broccolini complimented the dish. Dessert included lemon donuts with blueberry sorbet and lemon curd and I had the mango cheesecake with mango sorbet and lime curd. The cheesecake was delicious and its taste amplified with the roasted pineapple on top. We highly recommend Tosca for a special occasion or just a lovely evening out.
