Hua Ting Restaurant - Hinsdale

I love this place so much. Every time I come, I try something new and I'm never disappointed. The staff is so incredibly nice.

I'd give them a thick ZERO if I could! I ordered online. My husband picked him up when he came home with my sweet and sour chicken, it was just chicken. No vegetables, sweet and sour sauce on the side. When I took it back, the woman on the counter could not understand me and the man who came out of the back continued to yell at me and put his fingers in my food to tell me that it is chicken. Duh, yes, I understand this is chicken, but I ordered sweet sour chicken supposedly roasted pieces of chickens are sown with vegetables in a sweet sour sauce! After 5 minutes of him screaming at me that I took too long to bring it back (maybe half an hour) and it was chicken, he finally gave me some vegetables and the same chicken in which he put his fingers. I guess I should put it myself together and eat his finger chicken. GROSS. I'll never order from there again. It's rude!

The food wasn?t very good. Had sweet and sour chicken General tso and egg rolls. It was more like a general tso vegetable soup with some chicken. Not my favorite. The search continues..

Service was great. Really delicious pot stickers perfectly cooked. The tea was so delicious that he didn't need sugar and that's rare for me. The garlic braids were also amazing. I ate until I hurt and wanted to eat more!

I read the bad reviews in this place, but since evil was overshadowed by the good, we decided to try it, the food was fantastic and portions generous. Service was great. The prices were reasonable. Place was clean and welcoming. We had enough to get it for lunch the next day. We ordered chicken roasts with cashews, beef roasts with cashews and shrimps with garlic sauce. Yummy! I know every restaurant can have a day off, but we loved it. Would go back to New York when we're back in town. Also, since I was a waitress in my youth, I know how picky and demanding some customers can be so that you can not depend on their reviews. Try it! You'll love it!
