Happy Hawg Bbq - Hiram

Came here with my family. I had a Burger and sweet potato fries.... My fries didn't taste like anything, I was hoping to have that sweet potato taste ?... The Burger was nothing to sit down and write home to mom about just OK... I only gave 4 stars because we had a really nice waitress and we didn't have a long wait at all for all the food we had.

Not Bad... just a few tweaks needed. Chopped Chicken Sandwich and tenders was overcooked and super dry. Had to put a lot of BBQ sauce to eat it. Fried pickles and fries were good but would have been great if not extremly over salted. Brunswick stew lacked meat and tasted a bit like spaghetti-o's. Yellow Jackets were perfect. Overall, clean restaurant and service was exceptional. Maybe a bit more attention to cook times and seasoning of sides.

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent! The atmosphere is relaxed, making it an ideal spot for families and friends. There's ample space indoors, with tables that aren't crammed together. Plus, there are plenty of parking spaces available.

As for the food, I ordered a pulled pork plate with baked beans and collard greens. The wait for the food wasn't long, but I found the portion sizes to be small for the prices charged. Overall, the food was decent, but not outstanding. The pulled pork sandwich was quite small, yet it was tasty, and the accompanying sauce was quite enjoyable. However, the baked beans were a bit too sweet for my liking, and the collard greens lacked flavor. They didn't have the spiciness or taste that I usually expect from Southern collard greens. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant, as I wasn't impressed with the overall experience.

That was the best BBQ I've ever had. The grain bread is fantastic. The smoked Angus beef is incredibly tasty. The pulled pork is so flavorful that it doesn't even need any sauce. The potato salad is out of this world!
