We were disappointed that there was no Fanta available, only an orange drink which cost the same. We felt that the steak and bamboo shoots could have used more mushrooms and onions, but overall the food was delicious.
An Asian restaurant right on Hjo's market square. I don't understand why the restaurant hasn't done so well in previous reviews. We were very satisfied with the friendly and fast service. The food was also really tasty and something was put together for our daughter according to her wishes. Next time we're in Hjo and have an appetite for Asian cuisine, we'll definitely come back.
Took fried chicken with vegetables and chase nuts and peanut sauce. It was delicious, but unfortunately the peanut sauce is diluted and not nearly as good and creamy as in many other places, so I won't be ordering it again.
No, unfortunately. It is not a good Asian restaurant. Anyone who claims that must be lying, unfortunately. I've eaten here probably 20 times, because I live in Hjo and the desire for Asian food gets big at times. But every single time I wonder why I didn't just go to tibro where there is an incredible thai, or buy a burger at the kiosk. It tastes 99% oil, no matter which dish you choose. Have tried many different ones. The dish that is the best is Middag Special A. It's all right, but no more. Don't bother trying something more exotic on the menu, but play it safe here. Deep-fried stuff they can, not so strange perhaps because it seems that the whole restaurant is bathed in oil. As well as steak with bamboo shoots, tastes just fine. The rest, NO! They get 2 stars and that is because they are very nice and nice people. I really want Ming to be fine. Because it feels awful to go and sponsor tibro, instead of benefiting Hjo. But so far they give me no other choice. If you are reading this Ming. DO SOMETHING! Take the criticism to heart. People have been complaining for years. You can do better! And if anyone else who is interested in starting a Thai restaurant in Hjo, reads this: It's an open goal. It would go ANYWAY. I'm still hoping that Ming will recover, but unfortunately it looks bleak right now.
The food at this restaurant was very bland and seemed to be canned. The boiled chicken was rubbery and had no flavor. There was no discernible spicing. I also raised a complaint about the two radios playing simultaneously, creating a distracting background noise.
