Five Oysters - Ho Chi Minh city

It was rain..we took 62000VND=S$4 from tresor apartment to five oysters at bui vien, the angmoh backpacks footpath. the food was good. raw oysters 10000wnd S$0.60 were each well grilled large oysters 30000wnd S$2 good. I prefer raw, bittergourd 60000wnd S$4 good vietnamese pancakes 70000VND S$6.50 very good crispy stuffed with hai 80000VND S$5 her signature only dish not good cocky tamarinden sauce 1kg 2 cocky s$27 taste good small cocks 1130000wnd S$70 for 3pax 14.9.2029

Pretty good, but very small portions for the price. I would probably also skip the spring rolls, they are not great. the place is clean, beer are cheap and eat is pretty nice.

Decent food. Reasonable prices, about VND 40-60k/ dish. Portion is small. Service is good. Probably it's Bui Vien/ Pham Ngu Lao area so many foreign customers! I'm shocked that I had to speak English to order Vietnamese food in Vietnam...

Great place! we were there twice, they serve great Vietnamese food, with very good trips and service!

Tripadvisor recommended this place so we thought we would let him go. everything I can say is wow, excellent value for money! very friendly and relaxed atmosphere with delicious seafood and authentic Vietnamese food and cheap trips. beer at 50 cent (10.000 wnd) is also a glass hard to beat! we had a few beers in the roof area and had a fantastic evening. the menu is large and the selection is brilliant, but my favorite is the saigon fried noodles with very fine noodles, which are boiled in an amazing aromatized sauce and it is served with fresh seafood. another favorite is the crab with tamarinden sauce and tofu with tomato sauce. we spent 2 weeks in hcmc and just drove back to this joint and every time we tried something else. a very friendly and mostly English-speaking staff and the service is great. menus in vietnam and English. What else do you want?
