Ihop - Hobbs

The service today was the worst!!! Something was seriously wrong with the cook!! If I could give them zero stars I would. They messed up one order that had to be sent back twice then we got our appetizers after our meals and food took so long we filled upon our drinks. Several people eating there tonight were very upset and dissatisfied and disappointed. The pancakes werehorrible!!! I don?t think I?ll be going back to IHOP at least not the one in Hobbs, New Mexico. We were so looking forward toeating there and it was a horrible disappointing experience. Please save yourself the grief and pick any other restaurant DO NOTGO TO IHOP! People were also complaining about the wait time and dirty glasses and silverware.

It was nice, but the food had cooled down and it was kinda cool not warm or hot. My great grandchildren loved the hot chocolate and they enjoyed their pancakes. The service was friendly.

We were seated immediately and our orders were taken quickly, but after that, things went downhill. We waited over 20 minutes for our food and discovered that there was no one in the kitchen. The waitress was hard to find, as she had brought her children to the restaurant while on duty. Once the cook was informed that he had orders to prepare, our food arrived soon after. The food was good overall, but the pancakes were a bit gooey.

I walked in and was not greeted by anyone, and after waiting ten minutes, I was finally told to sit wherever I liked. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the coffee tasted stale and resembled brown water rather than actual black coffee. I usually order the split decision, which had a slightly off flavor but was still acceptable, and the double blueberry pancakes, which were quite good.

Update: The other half of my order never came out—they lost it. Now I'm having to cancel both orders and seek a refund, which has turned into yet another wait. It's been an hour and a half now.
