Catfish House - Hobe Sound

I'll wait there for a few little oies. much bigger than I remembered. portions are very generous. I'm glad we're going back there. in the last few years so many places have closed. I'm glad the catfish house survived the hard times.

The first time back since covid. eating was super fresh, hot, delicious and we have enough rest for another meal. our waitress, karen, was friendly and attentive. we will not wait so long to go back.

The family loves this place. the portions have become smaller on some items. like the fried squid plate had a budding salate underneath. the prices are everywhere. two people $86 I will return and after the 10 of us who were there, I can say that I know what I want and it is reasonable price for this product. everything they order now costs. I asked about the little plastic cup you put on, and Gator sauce and was charged for it. tee a beer is all in the price. just a few things that don't need to cost them so much to do. others then that they will like to go the food and customer care.

Always get the boneless catfish. Enough to share if your not a big eater. If you like a lot of food go for it. So delicious!

So, my husband loves this place. I'm not much on seafood, but he is. The ingredients are fresh (fish is very fresh) and they change the grease daily. This is HUGE. Everything is fried up nicely. I'm a hushpuppy fan, and I have to say, I LOVE light a fluffy hushpuppies but their hushpuppies are dense. But still good. Yeah, my husband recommends them to EVERYONE
