Everything looked absolutely mouthwatering! Unfortunately, we were quite full from our earlier meal, so we only sampled one pastry, but it definitely met our expectations. It was filled generously with a rich yellow cream. The staff were friendly and did a great job of promoting the Cake Boss merchandise. Overall, my visit to Carlo's Bakery was definitely worthwhile!
This delightful bakery offers incredibly tasty cakes. We sampled the pecan pastry, which was outstanding, but the star of the show was the cup of English tea they provided! It was truly exceptional—without a doubt the best we've experienced in America.
Firstly, this restaurant is impeccably clean and has a warm, inviting atmosphere right from the moment you enter. The staff is friendly and eager to help. I had the chocolate cupcakes along with a caramel latte, and I have to say, I preferred the coffee over the cupcakes, which were a tad too sweet for my taste. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to try their cakes next time.
Seen Cake Boss several times and always saw this bakery. Had to check it out! Took the path from NYC to Hoboken and it was a smooth ride. Walked to the bakery which was 5 -10 minutes away very easy to find. When we first got there no one was there. I was expecting to see a line but when we went in they had there cutout board with the Cake boss and tons of sweets that looked amazing! We definitely got a canoli and Chocolate and Strawberry short cakes. There is a bench outside so we sat there and enjoyed it. The Cake was amazing!!! And now I know why he’s the cake boss!!! The canoli was perfect. All of a sudden we saw a rush and of people arrive and it was a steady flow so k think we just missed rush hour. After we walked down to the waterfront with a beautiful park and views of NYC! You must try this bakery they live up to the hype!!!
My family and me drove from Baton Rouge, LA to visit the original Carlo’s Bakery. We’re on a tight budget so we weren’t able to buy more than just a few cannolis, a mini strawberry cheesecake, a couple drinks, a cup and t-shirt. The strawberry cheesecake my special needs son has a hard time chewing and swallowing and he really loved and The only thing that could’ve made this experience 100% better would’ve meeting some of the family. The food and drinks were delicious and I wish I could’ve bought more for our road trip back to Baton Rouge, LA.
