Contribuisci feedbackMy husband and I love Greek food so we went to Athen in Hochheim. The waiter was very nice and seated us promptly. We were given the customary Ouzo with the menu. My husband and son loved their meals but my Souvlaki could've used a bit more spice.
Spiridon Chatsalis, the owner of the Athen Restaurant is from an Island off the North West coast of Greece. His recipe for small calamari is fantastic...just like we enjoyed in Greece. All of the food is prepared in the Greek style The calamari is fresh, not frozen; It is served as the whole creature. The calamari heads and bodies are separated but serve together together...just like in Greece. The Greek salads here are wonderful too. The super deserts are all from family recipes. The service is excellent. The restaurant is clean and includes private booths, tables, and a large outside garden area for use in the summer months. It's the perfect combination of food and atmosphere that we seek but do not always find.
Meet and service is very good and I think is important to know you can eat latter than 9,00 o´clock. Although they don't speak english is very easy to order the food, they are very gentle.
Outstanding! Well loved by the town residents... this family run business ensures a wonderful experience. the architecture and decorations are unique and the food was very good! We loved eating out of doors in their garden "Hof". We also enjoyed eating inside.
