Contribuisci feedbackWe decided to stop by this restaurant while staying at a hotel across the street, opting for breakfast here instead of paying for the hotel’s. Unfortunately, we had to wait an excessively long time for our food. After about 30 minutes, we had to inquire about how much longer it would take. While I understand that restaurants may be short-staffed, it didn’t seem particularly busy at the time. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
We waited for an hour before being seated, but the manager came over to apologize for the delay. As a gesture of goodwill, we were given complimentary desserts. The staff was incredibly friendly and apologetic throughout our wait. The berry pancakes were absolutely delicious. As for accessibility, the restaurant offers plenty of space.
My one-star rating is solely based on the poor customer service. Denny's has a corporate policy that does not allow guests to take home leftovers from the all-you-can-eat breakfast. My siblings and I enjoyed our meal, but since we couldn’t finish everything, we wanted to take the leftovers home. Our request was denied. Rather than fostering goodwill and encouraging us to return, Denny's has now lost three customers, wasted a lot of food, and negatively impacted their staff's tips. We have had similar dining experiences at other restaurants and have always been offered a take-home option. This is a terrible business practice. I will not be returning. Their policy tarnished what could have been a great experience, wasted food, and took money away from their employees. Bad Denny's!
Been coming here for 42years. Since high school..... Today was an absolute disappointment. Family of 4 a few tables away from us summoned a server and asked if someone could help them, they had been waiting 15 min and no one came to their table. After nearly 15 min ourselves table of two with no one to come by and see if we even wanted coffee, something to drink, or to tell us they would be right with us, we left. What a shame. I understand many places are short handed when it comes to staffing. We did see a number of employees here; maybe we and the other table were invisible. Thanks for the memories Denny's, we won't return.
Jose was a good waiter. Food was good except toast was cold... Butter wouldn't even melt. Out of stock on advertised item.. Mgmt needs to do better with ordering!
