Giant, automated and pro-animal welfare dairy facility housing 200 cows and two very friendly cats! The farm itself has 360 degree glass walls allowing you to see what goes on inside but the best bit is accessed via the restaurant on the 1st floor, onto the balcony and through the door into the top of the dairy farm. From here there are info points telling you all about the facility and you get to witness what became truely awesome ... a fully automated set up. Everything from the floor cleaner, feeder, milking machines and cow grooming stations. I thought it was a joke when I read the plack saying the cows took themselves for milking...but they do and infact they queue up for it!! Restaurant did a good selection of hot food and drinks all in a brand new enviroment. This is also the meeting point for some of the Ice Explorers trips. If your passing it really is worth a visit!!!
A milk farm. With a modern looking restaurant. Which sells powdered coffee and powdered milk from an all-in-one coffee machine for 400isk. At a milk farm. I feel insulted.
Loved it. Their chef does a great job. We tried langoustine soup and Irish stew soup, and seriously, they were some of the best dished we encountered in the whole country. Highly recommended!
Big farm with 550 cows but you can't get close to the animals, only see them from a balcony.Limited food choices. Not very good fish.
