The hotel bar is lively! Within walking distance of several cool shops and even a winery which was fabulous Twin Mills . Very close to LaGrange and FDR's Little White House. The one thing I would recommend would be to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the railroad is near by and the train runs regularly. We will definitely be returning!
Nice rooms with a sandwich shop and live band and bar. Pool tables outdoor dining and water fountains. Definitely has a romantic atmosphere and laid back staff and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.
The Grand Hotel was an experience I will always remember. From the moment of walking through the door, you feel whisked away into another dimension in time. The attention to detail in every corner lets you know that this place has been lovingly restored. Right down to the original floors. The coffee and tea station was a perfect touch for the guests. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The mixologist and wait staff were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed trying a few of their specialty cocktails. As we relaxed in the bar area I looked around and could only imagine the people that shared that same room over 100 yrs ago. Everything was perfect!
There were 4 of us mom and sisters so they accommodated us in the bridal suite with a rollaway bed and sofa sleeper. We felt very comfortable making ourselves at home, setting up a puzzle in the conservatory, opening a bar tab and eating tapas singing along with the music and just being our happy noisy selves.
This is my second time coming to Main Street Market and I have had the best experience ever both times I have came can't wait to go back
